¨Salperton IV had an unfortunate crash gybe incident crossing the Atlantic in April 2010, which was going to have a serious impact on the yacht’s 2010 regatta programme. The damage to the boom constituted not a repair but a re-build and on a very tight programme Branagh Marine Composites working in conjunction with Southern Spars, worked night and day during May to achieve this. The result was functionally and aesthetically excellent and allowed Salperton to participate in the Loro Piana regatta in Porto Cervo in early June. A first class job."
